Inhalt
In this course, you train listening, reading, writing, and speaking through the following topics: relationships and friendships, sharing, swapping, and neighborhood support, nutrition and food, the environment and climate change, work and everyday professional life, hospitals and health, media and fake news, as well as history and political engagement.
In addition, your German course teaches you a lot about German-speaking countries and their cultures and gives you the chance to discuss cultural differences. You are specifically prepared for each part of the exam.
The following grammar topics are covered: ● Verbs with prepositions, pronominal adverbs wo(r)- and da(r)- ● Infinitive clauses with zu, brauchen + zu + infinitive ● Subordinate clauses with obwohl, seit(dem), bevor, damit, and um … zu ● Subjunctive II (wishes, polite advice, hypothetical conditional clauses) ● Passive voice in the present tense, including with modal verbs, and the verb lassen ● n-declension and genitive case (e.g. with trotz, wegen) ● Simple past tense
You practice the content in different formats (individual, pair, and group work).
