Inhalt
In this course, you train listening, reading, writing, and speaking through the following topics: greetings and introductions, contacts and personal information, everyday objects, shopping and sports, free time and shared housing, family, friends and celebrations, food and restaurant visits, as well as daily routines and expressions of time.
In addition, your German course teaches you a lot about German-speaking countries and their cultures and gives you the chance to discuss cultural differences. The course covers all parts of the exam and prepares you for each one.
The following grammar topics are covered:
- Verbs in the singular and plural, simple past of sein and haben
- Wh-questions and yes/no questions
- Definite, indefinite, and negative articles, plural forms
- Prepositions (e.g. aus/von, in/auf, als/bei) and expressions of time (am, im, um, von … bis)
- Accusative case (articles and personal pronouns)
- Possessive articles
- Modal verbs (haben, möchten, wollen, müssen, können)
- Separable verbs and verbs with a vowel change
You practice the content in different formats (individual, pair, and group work).
